Dr. Aliasgar Zavery

Dr Aliasgar (Ali) Zavery is originally from Nottingham, England. He trained at Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals in London, qualifying in 2003. He worked as a GP partner in Hampshire, UK, earning membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners as well as a Diploma in Child Health. He moved to Australia in 2013, earning Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, and currently works as a GP in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. He has also worked in aged care, teaching medical students, and has held an honorary lectureship at the University of Melbourne.
In 2016, Dr Zavery co-founded Qoctor, one of Australia’s first doctor-owned telehealth services. He remains closely involved in the service’s clinical approach, and writes and reviews health information published across its websites.
